Most of antique cameos depict Greek and Roman Gods and Goddesses, other figures are portraits of famous people, as Queens, then there are Biblical subjects, and ladies. I prefer mythological subjects, they are always magnificent, when well carved. Below there is a list of Gods, Goddesses, with their own symbols, that you can find as a cameo subject.  In the next pages you can find other Gods and Mythogical  figures often carved as cameos subjects.
