This is a cameo of surpassing beauty.Another museum quality piece, the carving is perfect and vey crispy and detailed, the frame, 15 kt gold, is very elaborate and finely chiselled, with genuine sapphires and salt water pearls. The lava stone is in perfect conditions with no chips or cracks, the era of this cameo is Victorian, about 1860/1870 . A rarest cameo very desirable collectors' piece.
